Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is essential to upgrade your items to maximize your gearing potential. It lets you add bonus stats and bonuses over the value of your base item.
Each upgrade template has several options that can be changed through the edition GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the chance to upgrade.

Upgrade components
The system for upgrading armor, weapons and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 has been reworked as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot available. The game will show a preview of the item's expected stats after upgrading. It will also show the component or material required. If you don't have the necessary level of material or component needed to upgrade the item, then the button will read "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor, a few trinkets, and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on each item with upgrades that give bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is utilized. These upgrades are available through crafting, purchased from a seller, or looted or acquired as an incentive.
There are two kinds of upgrade components: universal upgrades and gems. Universal upgrades that are similar to gemstones can be put in any type of equipment and offer less of a benefit than other upgrade components. They are easy to acquire, as they are dropped by enemies and robbed across the globe. Gems can be obtained through disassembling items or by doing certain missions.
Upgrades can be removed and replaced with new ones within the weapon's slot. However, this will destroy any previous upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs that can be added to gathering tools cannot be removed from an item after they are inserted. Infusions, which are placed into ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, as well as enrichments that can only be extracted with an upgrade extractor, or by salvaging the item using a high-tier salvage kit, can be replaced every hour.
Recycled items
In the two recent world wars, the scarcity of natural resources led the world to adopt recycling. It is now commonplace to recycle items like paper, aluminum and plastic, giving them new life as something different. Recycling actually conserves energy and stops carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. It's also a good option to avoid landfills and conserve natural resources. Nonetheless, it is important to know what materials can and cannot be recycled.
A common mistake people make is placing the wrong things in the recycling bin. These waste products not only pollute the stream, but they could also harm recycling equipment. To avoid this, examine the label and adhere to the guidelines for your recycling program. Cardboard should never be mixed with steel or tin cans. Tissue should be disposed of. Plastic bags also tangle in recycling machinery and should be disposed of at an upscale grocery store for reuse. Food containers and berry containers are also items which can be recycled. Glass is the only exception as it can be used to build with.
When purchasing upgrade item is essential to search for the tag "Made with recycled content." This label indicates that the item is made of recycled materials from products that have already served their purpose. This makes them more environmentally green than new products composed of raw materials. These materials are also cheaper than virgin ones.
If it's your old tablet, phone or computer, you can recycle these items by taking them to a recycling center. They will reuse this material to create new electronics and useful products. You can even get money from some of these companies by donating old ones.
If you want to make it easier for your colleagues to recycle, you should consider coordinating the colors of bins and signage in your workplace. This will eliminate confusion and encourage participation. In addition, make sure that you have a designated area for the various recyclables in your workplace, such as a centralized bin or a box in the break room.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll the dice to increase your stats and cool abilities. These tokens are found in the mystery box, or as rare drops from bosses or monsters with skulls. Each token removes one attribute point from damage, and then randomly transforms it into an attribute that is new. You can also use the token to reroll the extras on an item, for example regeneration or speed.
The bonuses on an item increase with each level, however the amount they boost varies. The value of an extra is calculated as a percentage of the total stats of the item, and rerolling the token will alter the value. Moreover, the item's recycle value also rises with every upgrade. In general, the value of an item's principal stat will increase by +3 every level, while the value of its additional stats will fluctuate.
To roll an item again, you can click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory. You can also hit the button in another player's lobby and choose "Reroll". After rerolling the item, it will be removed from your collection.
Rerolls can be purchased as well as other items in-game from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to claim many items such as Reroll Tokens and Clan Reroll Tokens.
These rerolls are useful in the early stages of the game, when you are trying to increase your inventory and dungeon equipment. However, they're not the most effective way to increase your character's stats. Instead, you should focus on gaining more skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing the event levels.
You can also reroll the race of your character with a race-reroll token that can be purchased from the Zen Market. The token can be used through specific pack purchases or through the Token Shop. It lets you change the race of your character only once. You can also get it as a reward for completing Meg's cases during the Port Sarim Invasion event.
Leveling
The attributes of an item and its Power Level will rise when you level up an item as part of the upgrade process. However, it can also increase the cost of upgrades and requires an amount of materials to complete the process. The kind of material needed is dependent on the item. Weapons, for instance, utilize a combination of Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor is made up of Harmony Leapstones, Shards and other materials. The addition of additional materials to the process can increase the likelihood of success, however it is not an absolute guarantee.
The process of leveling utilizes an algorithm to determine the amount of damage, magic attack and defense the upgraded item receives at the next upgrade. The formulas vary based on the weapon type and rarity. There is also a maximum level for each type of gear.
The NPC will display an upgrade option once the item reaches the maximum level. This allows players to upgrade the item to the next level by combining it with experience. To make the most of this process, players should make sure their gear is fully leveled prior to trying an upgrade. This way, they'll avoid wasting time and resources that would have been better used for other upgrades.
The NPC will display two lines when the upgrade is in progress. The first line indicates the amount of Tech Points will be gained by upgrading the item, while the second shows an overview of the upgraded appearance. The preview won't be exact for items that have mods, but it can provide an idea of what to expect.
The NPC will display the price to upgrade the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. It will also display the price of an Accelerator if you have one. Accelerators can be bought through the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points earned by upgrading by 50 percent. However, this bonus does not apply to the item's Quality Chance which is reset when the item is at its maximum level.
The Upgrade NPC offers a service to facilitate transfer of gear. This will allow players to save their experience and upgrade progress of the gear they own and then transfer it to a new item in the same slot. This is helpful for players who wish to change their gear, but do not have enough money to purchase a new set.
